Why Our Technology Matters
Our goal is simple: to make sure you receive answers and care that truly make a difference.
Technology helps us look deeper, find the cause of symptoms like dryness or eye strain, and track how your eyes change over time. More importantly, it helps us explain your results clearly so you can feel confident in every step of your care.
Behind every scan or image is a doctor who takes the time to listen, interpret, and guide you toward lasting relief.

Technology That Supports Your Eye Health
The technology we use at North Shore Eye Health & Wellness allows us to look deeper into how your eyes function, uncover the source of symptoms, and design treatments that bring lasting comfort.
Whether it’s relieving dryness, improving visual coordination, or easing strain and dizziness, our tools help us provide care that’s clear, personalized, and effective.
Chronic dryness and irritation can be uncomfortable and distracting. We use several noninvasive treatments to help restore balance and comfort, including:
- IPL (iProX InfinityPro): Uses gentle light to reduce inflammation and improve gland function.
- Radiofrequency(RF): Supports natural tear production and healthy eyelid function.
- LipiFlow: Helps clear blocked oil glands and rebalance the tear film.
Together, these treatments help our patients find real, lasting relief from dry eye.
In our vision therapy space, patients of all ages work on improving how their eyes and brain communicate. We use specialized software, visual tracking tools, and interactive exercises to strengthen coordination, focusing, and reading comfort.
Vision therapy can help children build learning and reading confidence and support adults recovering from concussions or visual fatigue.
For some patients, headaches, dizziness, or difficulty focusing can be caused by subtle eye misalignments, a condition known as Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD). These small differences are often missed in standard exams but can have a major impact on daily life.
Our NeuroVisual testing uses specialized equipment to detect even the smallest misalignments. Treatments may include:
- Custom Microprism Lenses to realign vision and reduce strain
- Neurolens Technology to relieve tension caused by digital screen use
- Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation to support patients recovering from concussion or neurological injury.
These approaches help restore visual balance and comfort so you can see and feel your best.

What Patients Are Saying
My daughter came in with complaints of cloudy vision. Every person we encountered was friendly and professional. I could tell my daughter was comfortable during every test throughout her visit. Dr. assured both of us that her complaint was nothing to worry about!
Relieved and happy with our experience here!
Anne J.
As a new patient, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect.
My previous experiences had been with large chain eye centers and those experiences were hit or miss. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at North Shore Eye. They were friendly and thorough with their examinations and Dr. Ross was extremely
knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend!
Amy S.
Extremely knowledgeable, has flexible hours that have allowed me to go in after work. Very prompt in his
responses and overall very friendly environment.
Lauren D.
The most up to date equipment with the most personal care from any optometrist I’ve ever gotten. I would recommend him to anybody who has a complex prescription and hasn’t had good luck with other doctors.
Geoff R.
Dr. Ross and staff were very helpful. When I had a terrible eye infection, Dr. Ross evaluated my eye, prescribed me the proper meds, and scheduled a follow-up to make sure everything was going as expected. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of care and would recommend North Shore to anyone who needs to see an optometrist.
